Set up YallaDM with Claude

Add YallaDM to Claude once, then say "set me up". Claude asks where you are starting from, walks you through each screen one step at a time, checks that each step worked, and copies your ManyChat or InstantDM automations across as drafts for you to review.

Type or paste it exactly as it is. You also need Aly's tester invite for Instagram, which Claude helps you accept.

Add it in Claude

    Add the connector

    On claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors. Press +, then Add custom connector. Paste the URL above and press Add.

    On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds it once under Organization settings, Connectors, and everyone else presses Connect. On the Free plan, this uses your one custom connector.

    Sign in

    Claude opens YallaDM's sign in. Sign in with Google, or type your email address and enter the one-time code that is emailed to you. Then approve the connection.

    There is no account to create: the first sign in makes one. Whatever you sign in with becomes your YallaDM login, so use the same email every time, including on the dashboard. Claude can only see accounts connected under that address.

    Turn it on in a chat

    In a new chat, press + at the bottom left, open Connectors and switch YallaDM on. Then write "set me up with YallaDM".

Using Claude Code? Run claude mcp add --transport http yalladm https://mcp.yalladm.com/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.

What Claude can and cannot do

  • It can see your connected accounts, your posts, your automations and counts of what YallaDM did, read a post's whole caption to suggest wording, and save automations as drafts.
  • It can change the wording of a live automation, but only after it has shown you the new wording and you have said yes in the chat.
  • It cannot put an automation live or take one off, change which post or words a live one answers, send a message or disconnect an account. Only you can, in your dashboard.
  • It never sees your Instagram or Facebook key, or who commented on your posts and what they wrote. When it looks for the word people comment, it is only shown words at least three different people used.
  • What Claude is shown goes to Anthropic, which runs Claude, as part of your chat. The privacy policy has the details.

Remove it

Open Customize, then Connectors, find YallaDM and remove it. Claude stops using it at once, and the codes it was given expire within 30 days. Your automations keep running: to stop YallaDM itself, disconnect your account from Settings in your dashboard.
